Thinking About Interning at TLOY? Here’s what some past interns had to say!
The Legacy of You has provided me with a wealth of knowledge and experience that I would not otherwise have earned. This internship has widened my skill set to an extent that I did not anticipate. Working in a professional, fast-paced atmosphere has prepared me for any job in the future. My opinions and abilities were constantly valued. Everyone in the office made me feel more than welcome. Michael has been an incredible mentor and creates an environment where I felt I could ask questions in order to grow. There is a sense of family in the office, which created opportunities to collaborate. The Legacy of You has provided me with the ability and confidence needed to thrive in any work environment, and for that I am forever grateful.
Interning with The Legacy of You has been such a wonderful experience that I truly enjoyed. Each day I was able to learn something new and was surrounded by so many kind-hearted people, which made this internship so rewarding. It is not easy to find an internship that you actually feel apart of the team and get treated like all of the other employees, but The legacy of You was able to provide that for me. Thanks to Michael and Richie I was able to feel important within the company and share my opinions throughout my time spent with the team. I learned so much throughout my time at The Legacy of You not only about social media but the concierge side of the business that I did not know before starting with this company. Working in this fast paced atmosphere has prepared me for any job in the near future. I feel as though my time spent with The Legacy of You has prepared me for the next chapters of my life and I am so thankful that I was given the opportunity to work with such amazing people.

Interning with The Legacy of You has been nothing short of a great experience. Interns here are treated no differently than employees, something that is sometimes hard to find, but something I value a lot in an internship. I’m always told the reason for which I’m doing something so that I know that even the most mundane of tasks has a significant importance to the company in the long run. I have learned so much and not limited to just the work I’ve been doing. I’ve learned a ton about social media marketing in my day-to-day tasks, but also how to be a valuable person in the professional world. Both Michael and Mariel constantly try to get me as involved with the company as possible and make sure that I know that my opinions and ideas are important and deserve to be spoken. I couldn’t have asked for a better company and group of people to spend my semester in New York City with.
My time The Legacy of You was such a rewarding experience. Although my immediate role consisted of working under the project manager, working in a small, fast-paced environment like this allowed me to be responsible for many other roles and I got to enhance my skills in project management, social media, marketing, funding, outreach, and design, just to name a few. I wasn’t just an intern here, but a part of the team, which became more like family. And with a person like Michael Ian Cedar in the lead, each day I was in the office was full of laughter and productivity. The experience that I had at The Legacy of You has thoroughly prepared me to move on to my next adventure.
