Failure To Plan Is A Plan To Fail

So, the clock struck midnight the other day…

Now what?

Did you set a few resolutions?

Do you have a few things you want to create in 2018?

Do you want to set the world on fire?

Do you want to create that thing you keep talking about?

Do you want to take control of your thoughts and body?

This is the year it will all happen, right?

Well… Today is already day 2 of 365.

The clock is ticking. Literally.

Hopefully you already took a few steps toward executing your vision for the year.

Just remember this: A resolution without a plan is an easy bake recipe that goes awry and you will likely find yourself making the same resolution again next year.

You do not get to decide how many more New Year’s you have.

So make the recent one the one that you take the action on.

Create a plan.

Create a ritual.

Create an accountability system

Create the steps.

Create the benchmarks.

Do whatever the hell it is you need to do to protect the legacy of you. Just whatever you do, do not just say you are going to do something.  Plan what you are going to do.

It’s that simple.

What’s that quote? “Failure to plan is a plan to fail… “

Even a tepid plan is better than no plan at all.

So… Plan away my friends!

And see you on the other side of 2018.

In the comments section or in an email to me:

  1. What are your resolutions for 2018?
  2. What is the actual plan on getting them accomplished?

Give measurable things that can be put on a timeline.

  • If you are going to write a novel, write how many words a day you are going to write.
  • If you are going to loose 18 lbs, what are your bench marks and how many days are you going to exercise?

It’s a crap-ton easier to pursue your passions when your mind is conditioned to find the tools and resources you have at your disposal. Feel free to join me at the Gratitude Slam Facebook Group. This is a place I ask daily questions about what do YOU have in your life already that can expedite the realization of your resolutions and the reach of your legacy.
