Listen to these inspirational speakers from “The Legacy Show #005 / What Do I Want To Be When I Grow Up?”
The awesome Jordan Matter from Dancers Among Us, the inspirational Founder of She’s The First Tammy Tibbetts, and the hilarious 7x Moth Storytelling Champion Sandi Marx – take the stage at LPR to tell us ‘What Do I Want To Be When I Grow Up?’ at The Legacy Show #005.
The Legacy Show, for those of you who aren’t familiar, is a monthly live show in New York City that is based on the content of this blog. It is a quirky take on storytelling events that entertain AND get the listeners thinking about their lives in new ways. The performers and presenters are all people who gave a middle finger to the status quo. If you missed it (or if you want to re-watch any of it again) here are the links to the videos below or the full playlist link here:
Michael Ian Cedar – Host
Michael introduces the show – The Legacy Show #005 was entitled “What Do I Want To Be When I Grow Up?”
Tammy Tibbetts – Founder of She’s The First
Tammy Tibbetts shares how she ended up doing something she never thought she’d be pursuing. “We often find ourselves doing something no one before you has ever done..” she said during her inspirational story. It was a motivational and pleasant treat to have her at The Legacy Show!
Sandi Marx – 7x Moth Storytelling Champion
Sandi Marx is always a delight. She has inspirational stories for days and it was no different at the 5th Legacy Show. How did she go from wanting to act and dance to becoming a successful talent agent? Take a listen. She’s always a pleasure and a treat to have at The Legacy Show.
Jordan Matter – Pro Photographer “Dancers Among Us”
Jordan Matter is a professional photographer that can make an audience tear with laughter with his stories. He’s as fearless as they come and an inspiration to those who seek to follow their passion, no matter when in life. His ‘Dancers Among Us’ photo book is a best seller and his upcoming ‘Dancers After Dark’ is poised to be just as big a hit.
It’s my utter joy to inspire others to get creative and break down barriers to get to where they can do meaningful work. I hope I get to see you at the next The Legacy Show (TBD). Do you know of any speakers who would be good for this event? Do you have a story to tell? Please send an e-mail to me at KickAss@TheLegacyOfYou.com!
Remember: Cute quotes and stories don’t make us successful; action does. Supplement your mind and soul with these stories, but the greatest achievements occur with what you do with the motivation.
