The Legacy of You - Make Things - Michael Ian Cedar

I know that I can work all day long.

I could work on the railroad all the livelong day. I could work without going to sleep. But, just because I’m working does not mean that I am producing quality work. Working does not equal creating. If I want to do things for the world that make a difference, more than likely I’m going to need to create something new. I need to create something that goes against the current status quo. I can’t change the world by being like the world that it is today. There are two types of people in this world: the ones that watch things happen (working) and the ones that make things happen (creating).

I’m not here to differentiate if you’re working or creating, that for you to decide. Your first step is raising your own self-awareness.

Ask Yourself:
Am I working or am I creating?

Self-awareness is the key. Create more and deepen what you leave behind for the world. Self-awareness is what will help you inspire others… So good morning, take a look in the mirror and let’s make a difference today!

Awakening the Legacy of You,
Michael
