You hear statements like these all your life:
You are TOO annoying
You are TOO nice
You speak TOO loud
You speak TOO soft
You are TOO short
You are TOO tall
You are TOO skinny
You are TOO fat
You are TOO pushy
You are TOO passive
You are TOO creative
You are TOO analytical
You are TOO much…
TOO, TOO, TOO, TOO, TOO…
Once you hear these stories of the negative “TOO”, it’s easy to start to believing in them.
MEMO: You are the only one who can deem yourself TOO anything.
There is no such thing as the perfect person.
We are humans, we are meant to be imperfect.
Imperfection is sort of sexy, if you ask me.
It’s what makes each of us unique.
Remember, whenever someone tells you a “TOO” story, it’s up to you if you want to believe it or act on it. It’s up to you on how you want to live, create, and be.
I’m sure people told Mother Theresa that she is TOO forgiving,
And I’m sure that people told Thomas Edison he was TOO radical,
And according to Hamilton the musical, Hamilton talked TOO much.
TOO makes history.
